Join us for a virtual info session in advance of our in-person training in Boston this December to learn more about becoming a volunteer Shiva Guide. During this session, you will:

• Learn how Shiva Circle is designed so that no one has to grieve alone

• Discover how Shiva Guides help mourners have a meaningful experience during shiva

• Have an opportunity to ask questions

Participants will leave the session with clarity about the role of the Shiva Guide and the tools to register for an upcoming in-person training in Boston.

At this one-day, in-person training you will:

• Deepen your knowledge of Jewish mourning traditions (no experience necessary!)

• Explore how to create circles of support so no mourners have to grieve alone

• Build relationships with a community of volunteer Shiva Guides

After the training, you’ll be ready to guide people in your own networks, or in the greater Boston Jewish community when they are mourning. And the Shiva Circle team will be here to help – with accessible resources and lots of opportunities to ask questions.
