Becoming a Shiva Guide

Shiva Guides enable a mourner to mourn and feel cared for by their community during the week of shiva and beyond. They listen to a mourner’s needs and support them in using the Shiva Project’s resources and web platform to help create a meaningful shiva experience. They also weave together the mourner’s network.

We offer training sessions throughout the year for people seeking to become Shiva Guides.
